Medical Professionals

Gift of Life is committed to helping physicians, nurses, transplant surgeons, hospital staff and donation champions learn how to implement nationally recognized strategies for success in organ, eye and tissue donation.

Our Professional Development Department’s educational outreach is expanding and we are continually raising the caliber of our assistance and offerings.

Here’s what we offer medical professionals

In-service training on donation and transplantation topics for groups of all sizes. Popular sessions include a donation overview for new nurses and mock DCDs. We also can arrange for organ recipients or donor family members to talk at your site.

Transplant Surgeon Follow-Up Program

As part of our continuous efforts to improve and expand our services, we will seek feedback from transplant surgeons after every donor case.
