Gift of Life Michigan is proud to announce that three of its outstanding team members have been named to The Alliance’s 40 Under 40 class of 2025. Ryan Cormier, Anthony Honeywell and Cupri Sanders were selected for their innovative leadership, commitment to excellence and lasting contributions to the organ and tissue donation field.
The Alliance’s 40 Under 40 recognition celebrates emerging leaders from across the donation and transplantation community who are shaping the future of the profession through purpose-driven work, collaboration and impact.
Ryan Cormier, director of tissue services, has been a transformative force at Gift of Life Michigan since 2015. Under his leadership, tissue recovery volume has more than doubled, driven by innovative staffing models and operational improvements. Ryan also played a key role in developing standardized tools and systems that improved tissue processing logistics and efficiency. As chair of the Accredited Tissue Bank Council (ATBC) and an active contributor to national committees, Ryan continues to influence the field at large.
Anthony Honeywell, organ services manager, has led improvements within Gift of Life’s family support and referral response teams. He was instrumental in tripling the size of the family support department, creating a 24-hour coverage model, and implementing a statewide initiative that dramatically improved referral response times. His background in social work and deep empathy help him mentor staff and drive meaningful, measurable change.
كوريبري ساندرز, donor operations manager, combines professional excellence with personal experience as both a tissue recipient and breast cancer survivor. She launched a new referral optimization team and co-led a groundbreaking collaboration with the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office, helping bring donation opportunities to more than 25,000 potential tissue donors. Her leadership is defined by compassion, innovation and a strong sense of mission.
“We are thrilled to see Ryan, Anthony and Cupri recognized on a national level,” said Dorrie Dils, president and CEO of Gift of Life Michigan. “Their dedication, vision and heart are helping to save and transform lives every day. This recognition is incredibly well-deserved.”
