Deann Marie (Sikkema) Jenkins

Our Quilt Square represents all the things Deann loved. She was active in the National Ski Patrol since the 70’s to the day of her death. She also loved sailing on her sailboat in the great lakes with her husband and pets. She was a beautiful sewer and quilter, so the spool & thread represent this hobby she loved. Deann was a teacher as well as a principal. Education was extremely important to her, and she spent her life teaching children. She was full of life, always patient with whatever she was doing, and loved spending time with her family for holidays, birthdays, camping, and traveling. She is clearly missed by all who knew her and especially her family.
