Event focuses on reflective voices, riveting results and revolutionary future in transplantation
ال Detroit MOTTEP (Minority Organ Tissue Transplant Education Program) Foundation and Gift of Life Michigan are proud to host the 15th annual Kountz Callender Drew Transplant Symposium, focusing on reflective voices, riveting results and revolutionary future in transplantation.

The KCD Symposium is a celebration of the effort, tenacity and collaboration that saves lives through organ transplantation.”
This educational and inspiring event takes place at the University of Michigan’s North Campus Research Complex and virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, March 19th from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
The Kountz Callender Drew Transplant symposium is open to the entire healthcare community. The event is intended for professionals at all levels to exchange ideas on healthcare disparities and their impact on organ and tissue donation and transplantation.
National and local experts will present on a variety of topics including developing diverse leadership, optimizing the patient experience, addressing structural racism in transplantation and innovation and advancements in the field. Speakers include one of the trailblazing individuals the symposium was named after, Dr. Clive Callender, who founded the الوطنية MOTTEP organization to increase minority organ donation rates nationally.
