Stuart Todd Hayner

This quilt square represents Stuart’s short battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Which is an irreversible progressive lung disease. The mushrooms represent the outdoors & nature. But of course he loved mushrooming. He was good at it too. We could be driving down the road at 25 mph and would spot them! I swear to god it’s true. Stuart’s two daughters, Brittany and Emily drew everything on the square, I still haven’t decided what to contribute and it’s the night before it has to be turned in. I guess I’ll rep the sorrow followed by strength and strength followed by sorrow. I am so proud of you Stuart! You continue to give as you always have and always will.
