A Dayja Foster le diagnosticaron insuficiencia renal cuando solo tenía 16 años. La diálisis la mantuvo en marcha, pero le robó a Dayja su tiempo de adolescente. El año pasado, un donante generoso le salvó la vida y recibió un riñón nuevo en el Children's Hospital of Michigan.

Ese regalo le permitió ir a su baile de graduación, graduarse de la escuela secundaria y vivir la vida de una adolescente normal. Hoy, está inscrita en la universidad, se ofrece como voluntaria para Gift of Life Michigan y su futuro es brillante. Dayja agradece a su donante todos los días y comparte su historia de amor con los demás.
