Un número récord de personas se unieron al Registro de Donantes de Órganos de Michigan en 2011, anunció Gift of Life Michigan. Un total de 398.000 se registraron el año pasado para donar algún día sus órganos, ojos y tejidos. Eso es un aumento del 25 por ciento de los 320,000 que se inscribieron en 2010. El Registro de Donantes ahora tiene 2.4 millones de nombres.
