J.L. Bouchard

My husband “Al” aka Lord Alexand J.L. Bouchard shared my life for 38 years. Als was my hero, friend, lover and playmate. I always told him he was my “Knight in Shiny Armor”, to which he responded “more like a Rusty and Dented Armor”, due to the life challenges he endured. Al loved being a dad to our Lynn and the foster children. He had many “heart” nieces and nephews he cherished. One of his favorite roles was playing Santa for foster kids and kids in need.

Al was good, kind and gentle man who could become a warrior for those who needed help.

Al’s very favorite things to do in life were writing, filmmaking, costuming and science fiction. He published science fiction fanzines a attended man conventions.
Due to his uncle having a cornea transplant and Al donating blood and plasma for years, he always hoped he could help others which is why he signed up for Gift of Life.

As his wife I would like to thank Gift of Life for helping AL fulfill a lifelong dream.
