When positions become available, the position description and requirements are posted on our Opportunities page. Here you can search for openings and submit your application (including resume, cover letter, and any additional materials) electronically. By creating an applicant profile, you will be able to create job alerts which will email you if a position matching your skills and interests becomes available.
Initial Screening
Upon successful submission of your completed application for an available position, you will receive an on-screen confirmation message. Incomplete applications will not be considered. We review each and every application received. On average, it takes one to two weeks for human resources and the hiring manager to complete this process. Those selected for a phone screen will be contacted via email by human resources.

- Nearly half our staff are hybrid, splitting their time between the main office in Ann Arbor and their homes.
- More than a third of our staff work fully remote. They work in area hospitals, local schools and from their homes.

Ben Hayes was a young husband in his prime when he was suddenly hit with a pulmonary disease that nearly took his life. He was within hours of dying when a generous stranger gave Ben and his wife, Karen, a second chance at a future together.
After recovering, the couple decided to become foster parents. When they learned about a 7-year-old boy in the foster system who had just received a liver transplant, they knew they could provide the best home possible for him. One year later they adopted Mallaki.

Gift of Life Michigan provides sick and vacation time in the form of paid time off (PTO) to full-time employees. This is one of our employees' most-appreciated benefits!
Part-time employees (averaging 25 – 36 hours/week) are given 40 hours of PTO each calendar year.
In addition to PTO, employees enjoy six paid holidays and three floating holidays of their choosing each year.
We offer opportunities for paid Community Service time (16 hours for full-time and 8 hours for part-time staff), including park clean-ups, community partner events, food pantries or with a nonprofit that is personally important to you.
