Vaughn Allen Smith
Vaughn, a beloved son, brother, father, husband, grandfather, and friend. My dad was one of a kind. He was loving, kind, respected and someone you didn’t want to mess with, when it came to us kids. He loved to joke around and make everyone laugh. Once you really got to know him is when he could make a fool of himself. He oculd get along with anyone. Over the years he became a father to the fatherless. Growing up he taught us that color and blood never mattered. We were all family no matter what. He also loved to help people. My dad would help friends and family out before himself. Sometimes even strangers when we got the news my dad wouldn’t make it, there was not one person who disagreed about him becoming an oragn donor. That is what he would have wanted, to make people’s lives brighter.
