Thomas B. Bartholomew
Thomas B. Bartholomew – May 10, 1946-October 4, 2010.
The quilt square holds a photo of Thomas and me, Beth, his wife of 40+ years, the two hearts reflect the love we had and shared together. The monarch butterfly always caught Tom’s eye during the Michigan summer months- they were his favorite. Tom loved the outdoors, fishing, and walking in Autumn. Tom was a graduate of Pontiac Central High School, Lawrence Tech, Walsh College, and George Washington University. His work career was in the Auto field, designing Formula 1 race cars, design & development on the DeLorean, and many years at General Motors. Tom’s happiest time was spent riding his tractor on his small farm and the time with his family. Tom’s eyes are still seeing Monarch Butterflies through the eyes of two fortunate recipients.
