Young tissue donor helps dozens live better lives; gives sight to two people

Nathaniel Payne, 14, of West Branch, became a donor after he lost his life in a 2013 car accident. Nate was able to give life-saving heart valves as well as bone and tendons to help ease pain and help others heal. The 8th grader also gave the gift of sight to two people suffering from loss of vision. Nate’s family and friends are proud of his legacy.
