I am a different story: I didn’t receive a organ donation but I did receive a tissue donation.

And with out it I would be able to do the thing’s I do today. The number one thing is being with my girls. I had a slipped disk in my neck. It was pretty bad, when I saw the Dr about it he told me if I didn’t get it taken care of in the next three months I would be paralyzed from the waist down.

We take walking for granted everyday, but that would mean not being able to play with my children, and that is one thing I didn’t not want to miss. My symptoms ranged from numbness and tingling in the arms to not having any feeling in my arms, that didn’t include the back pain.

I am thankful everyday that I receive this gift! Before this I didn’t realize the importance of donation of not just organs but tissue. I am doing great and now have a 7 month old daughter to add to our family without all of this would not be possible and am encouraging everyone I know to be a donor!
