Susan Rice

Susan’s role will be to partner with our stakeholders through fundraising to support the mission of Gift of Life Michigan. Susan joins our team after holding multiple fundraising roles at Eastern Michigan University for over 21 years. Susan’s background includes experience with special events, annual giving campaigns, major gift acquisition and expertise in legacy gifts.

Gift of Life Michigan CEO Dorrie Dils is excited to have Susan on board and looks forward to her taking the foundation into active fundraising. “We have known for some time that we need to create a way for those who wish to donate to our cause to do so in a meaningful way,” Dorrie said. “My goal is that with funds raised we can provide even more services that allow us to honor life through donation.”

Susan’s fundraising career began in Chicago, supporting the work of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. “I am thrilled to return to the impactful world of healthcare fundraising and honoring loved ones through donation and philanthropy,” she said.
