Clay Dangler
This quilt square describes our almost perfect son, Clay. A handsome, smart, humorous, never rebellious, always respectful son. He was dedicated, from the golf teams all 4 years of high school, to multiple teams of hockey and being an athletic goalie, who always offered to help. His goals were to become a member of the prestigious and grueling U.S. Navy SEALs and to continue in heroic measures with Secret Service employment. A mere one class from getting his criminal justice degree, his life was swept away in a horrific accident. He never smoked, drank, or used drugs, ran three miles a day, summer or winter, and taught Navy SEALs team members the underwater life saving skills, while his wrists were bound behind him and ankles tied with a cement block. He never gave up! His organs were accepted with no complications.
