My older sister, Connie, contracted spinal meningitis when she was sixteen months old. This left her with a significant impairment. While she didn’t have the easiest life she brought many smiles to our family and an appreciation for life. She taught us to not take anything for granted, upon her sudden passing my parents found comfort in donating some of Connie to be left in this world.
