Dan Triantaflos

Dan passed away unexpectedly in September 2011. Dan was a very giving and considerate person and I felt that he would have wanted to become a donor to help others and live on through them. The quilt square submitted in memory of and to honor Dan was prepared with love by Dan’s parents, John & Sue. The items on his quilt square are a great representation of who Dan was. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and always proud of his service to his country. Dan greatly enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. We lived on a river and many mornings Dan would go fishing, taking in the peacefulness that nature provided, while waiting to catch the “big one.” Dan was full of life and was completely devoted to his family and friends. He was an incredible loving and devoted husband and father. He took great pride in his family and was always there to lend a hand. He was an IT Professional and greatly enjoyed his position and the various challenges it provided. Dan will remain forever in our hearts, and is deeply missed.
