Our quilt square shows our husband/father doing what he enjoyed the most – piloting our hot air balloon.  He was so happy when he could fly along with his other fellow balloon pilots.  He flew “Ashley’s Rainbow” almost 10 years and enjoyed soaring with the winds.  He was taken from us all too soon, but now soars with the angels in heaven.  We will never forget him, his smile or laughter!!The prayer on the square is the “Balloonist’s Prayer” – something that is said at the end of a balloon flight.
