Don was in the Navel Reserves. Katie wanted to join the army upon graduation. Katie loved sunflowers. Coffee they both loved (Don had his at Kmart and Katie had hers at TEXAN) Heaven belonged to Don, upon his death. Katie owned it until her death. Both are Super Heroes. They gave part of themselves to help others. Katie wanted to save the world (she is doing it one thing at a time), coat by coat, doll by doll, book by book, organ by organ. Don wanted to see the world; he saw 48 of the 50 states. They are buried beside each other at Calvary Cemetery.
