George Akens

George Akens left this world way too early. But not before he took one last ride on his motorcycle that he loved so much, a gift from his son to help him enjoy his days of recovery from throat cancer. Pictured here with his bike on a beautiful fall afternoon outing that he and his wife took on 10/9/11. George was a hard working brick mason who loved his family and took pleasure in making them happy and cooking wonderful meals. He ahs the most beautiful eyes that all of his children also have. You could tell what he was thinking or how he felt just by a single look. He sadly left us on 10/10/2011 and took his last ride to be with his lord in his forever home.

Greatly missed by family and friends.
