George DeMeyer

George loved God, Lighthouse Baptist Church, his family, sister Julie Horneffer and his great nieces and nephews. He was always the spark that lit up the room at any occasion. He was known as the “candy man” because he always made sure the nieces and nephews had candy along with himself. He once at a 2 lb. bag of salt water taffy in 2 days! He had so many friends and everyone in Marine City knew George DeMeyer because he touched so many lives with his indomitable spirit. George was truly “one of a kind.”
