James Carrick
Jim was a good man, a great husband and father. He loved family and freely gave of his time and talents to us. Jim was creative and mechanical, who loved wires and wiring. He kept our cars running as well as the house. He built his garage alone and spent many hours there just puttering and watching the St. Mary’s River. Once introduced to freighters and shipping, he was a dedicated boat nerd. He gathered information about ships from books and people. This new passion almost overtook his love of history. Jim’s final act of love was donating his eyes so others could see.
