Jimmie Lee Kostal

This quilt square was made in the memory of Jimmie “Jim” Lee Kostal. Jim had many wonderful qualities. He was a loving and devoted family man. He was loyal and a man of his word. Jim was always helping a hand. He was a hard worker and enjoyed the outdoors. Jim had a great sense of humor. His laugh was infectious and it often echoes through the house. He enjoyed reading the daily comics and would spend freetime reading his many comic strip collections. We chose to include peanuts comic strip as it was one of his favorites. Jim would cut out a comic strip that he felt pertained to someone he knew , replace the names then place it on the refrigerator or  in one of the many scrapbook pages he had created. Jim may be gone but will never be forgotten. His heart lives on and he will be forever in ours.
