Jo Lou Alt

The quilt square was too small to sum up my mother, Jo Lou Alt. The flowers on the square represent her love of gardening. She was not only known for her beautiful flowers, especially peonies, but her wonderful vegetables and rasberries. Also on the square is a cat that closely resembles her “Fuzzy,” who still misses her terribly as well as the rest of the family. If Id have more room on the square, I would have included the names of her 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, as they were a delight to her. A deck of cards would have been appropraite to show her love of games- especailly when winning! And finally, a Buckeye and a Block “O” should have been included as well, she loved to cheer her OSU Buckeyes!
