Kimberly Ann Harkness

Kim would be so proud of the design for our quilt square.  She was always helping others by volunteering of her time.  She was a shoulder to cry on and a very good listener if you needed to talk.  If we had the opportunity to discuss the option of organ donation, I am quite sure that she would have agreed with the process.  She was a firm believer in Paying it Forward. Our quilt square design was a gift that was given to us by an eight-year-old girl named Ella.  She drew us this picture and it was presented to us at Kim’s memorial.  It is quite insightful for an eight-year-old.  We thought it would be most appropriate to describe Kim.  It is a picture of Kim now as an Angel, free from all her earthly burdens.  The hearts represent the lives she saved and the Red Cross airplane is delivering her Gifts of Life.  What could be more fitting…We miss you Kim and will love you forever.
