Leslie Richard Osborn
Les Osborn (June 1, 1951- October 1, 2006), was a beloved son, brother, husband, father and friend. The border of the quilt patch has pieces from some of Les’ favorite Hawaiian shirts, which he wore all of the time. The center picture of Les was taken only 10 days before he passed away, at Walnut Canyon National monument. He loved to travel and has been all over the world. He is shown as a toddler with his parents, Joe and Diane, and in another picture with his sister Lori. Another shows him in his Air Force uniform. On June 24, 1972, Les married Linda Holzapfel in Lake Worth, FL. The wedding picture at the top was taken at daughter Dorie’s wedding and included our new family, Les and Linda, Dorie and Jerry McCormack, and daughter Amber and husband Greg Andrews. Les is also shown eating a frozen key lime pie in Key West- one of his favorite places. He had a passion for cars- his favorites are shown: an old Jaguar, 1955 Chevy Nomad, and his beloved 1976 English Mini Cooper. Quladent and the tooth represent his nearly 40 years as a dental technician while webfoot solutions were his web development business. He was renowned for his “secret BBQ”- which everyone loves, and iced teas since he always had a big glass of it nearby. The Disney button is there in memory of all times he went- especially his honeymoon and he was proud that his daughters both worked there.
