Lewis Potter Tuttle

A loyal loving supportive husband of 59 years, father of three children, two daughters and a son, grandfather to six granddaughters and great grandfather to ten, seven great granddaughters and three great grandsons. Lewis gave over nine gallons of RH negative blood to the red cross during his life.He donated his eyes to the Michigan eye bank for research on macular degeneration and willed his body to the Michigan state university anatomy department for the education of medical students. He was a devoted Christian who served God in many ways in the churches where he was a member. Lewis graduated from Michigan state university following service in the army air force. He was an accountant employed by the state of Michigan in the departments of revenue, management and budget, and mental health. While working in the Detroit area he was active in the southeast Michigan Employees Credit Union.
