Loren R. King

Loren spent his life helping others. He became a reserve police officer in his twenties. He also volunteered as a probation officer at the same time. After our wedding we moved to Pennsylvania where he became interested in firefighting. He went through the full fire fighting course and became a volunteer fire fighter. We moved back to Michigan and ater he retired he once again wanted to help others so he joined the Macom County Sheriffs as a reserve deputy. His last act of help was to become an organ and tissue donor. His corneas gave sight back to a man in Michigan. Even in death he helped one more person. He was a kind and caring and giving man that I will always love.
