Lyn Giera

Being with Lyn was a wonderful experience. He was always positive and upbeat. Every day he would ask, “What is today’s adventure?” It could be canoeing, going to Civil War re-enactments, wandering through old cemeteries looking of the oldest tombstone or visiting historic sites and museums. He could make walking to the library or the Farmer’s Market an adventure!He was the happiest spending time with his kids and grandchildren. He loved helping them with home improvement projects (he could fix anything-just ask him.) Going to Home Depot with them was a highlight! He could always be counted on for advice of a history lesson (whether you wanted on or not!) And of course, he could always help you find the “Hot Deal of the Day.”His passing had left a giant hole in our lives and hearts. We all miss him greatly.
