Mark’s certification as a chaplain came the same day that Mark was hit by the car. Mark never got the chance to open this important piece of mail. The symbol of the cross represents Mark’s faith in God which he shared with so many people. The sport patches represents the time he shared with his brothers and enjoyed going to the games with his brothers. The butterfly represents his tender spirit and his tenderness with his sister and nieces.
