Nettie “Moo Moo” Adkins

This quilt square is in honor of Nettie “Moo Moo” Adkins.  It represents her love of Jesus Christ, her love of talking on the phone, and singing.  We chose this layout because you see the word, hear the word, and sing the word.  She was always singing.  She was a very kind person that would give you the shirt off her back if she found out you needed it.  She never encountered a stranger, and if you were a stranger, you wouldn’t be after 5 seconds with her.  We love and miss her very much.  May her soul rest in peace.  One of the most memorable things about her was her love of onions.  She even ate onions with ice cream.
