Robert Davis
I chose to produce a crossword puzzle on my quilt square to tell something about my husband, Robert “Bob” G. Davis. Bob loved America and was honored to serve his country during the Korean Conflict. He was a faithful, thoughtful, loving husband and devoted father of three girls and two boys. He was also a proud grandfather and friend who encouraged us all and let us know how proud he was of our accomplishments. Family gatherings were important to him. One of Bobs favorite past times was crossword puzzles. He also enjoyed reading, especially mysteries. Being a very competitve pinochle player, he was always ready for a game. Bob was very thrifty with his own needs, but generous with others. He never met a stranger so he enjoyed volunteer work tremendously. He gave of himself freely. An honest, humble, and a God fearing man, he decided many years ago to be an organ donor. He would be happy to know he gave something, even in death.
