Sandi Kerkstra Goodin

Sandi was a very talented and creative wire and beaded jewelry designer. She loved making and selling her designs at the Fulton Street Artist Market every Sunday during the summer, along with many other venues. She was a people person and truly tried to help everyone.It was so important for us that this quilt block represent her. We used the design on her business card as our inspiration, knowing that was what she had chosen to represent herself. The metallic thread was used to represent all the wire, the faceted Indian Agate beads for her loved of semi-precious stones and the swirls for all the wrapping and curling and swirling wire she was known for.
