Sara Violet Guenther

My daughter, Sara Violet, was amazing. She approached life with joyful, creative curiosity. She loved to figure things out – from prom dress design to fixing her own car.Sara graduated from Princeton University in 2015 with a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. After graduation, she worked as a ground support equipment engineer for SpaceX.Sara was a passionate dancer, a voracious reader, a world traveler, and a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend. We miss her every single minute.The pink and yellow fabrics in this quilt square are scraps from her high school graduation quilt. The sparkly flower is from the prom dress she designed. The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft – that’s what she was working on.
