Sheryl Anderson Gordon
Sheryl was an amazing young lady. She has the distinction of being the first girl born in the Anderson family for over 100 years. She was a diabetic for 40 years and was blind for 25 years. She has had 2 leader dogs. Because of this, she knew her life was shortened, so she always wanted to help others. Sherry had already signed up to be a donor before we found out about it – she was very proud to be part of the Michigan Blind Athletic Assembly – She coordinated the Western Michigan University Youth Sports camp program – She started the tandem bike club in Kalamazoo – She was on the 1996 USA para-olympics goalball team in Atlanta. Her courage and enthusiasm for life inspired us all. We will cherish the memories forever.
