Stephen M. Calhoun

Steve was a kind, loving, and giving person who overcame many personal difficulties. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in mechanical engineering and later went on to get a master’s degree. He worked for Ford Motor Company for many years and had an ongoing interest in car shows and rallies.He loved his yard and his flowers and could been considered a master gardener.He was also a very talented photographer.His quilt square depicts his greatest love which was his orchids. He obtained his first one in 1978 and eventually had 30 plants. The orchid on his quilt square was one he grew and photographed.
