Tim Barker
The quilt square represents some of the characteristics of who Tim was. The flannel around the outside shows his love of wearing flannel shirts. With the camouflage shirt together with the trees, the deer and the sunset it shows how much he loved living up north in Michigan. He loved being outdoors and riding his lawn mower. It was a zen experience for him. He was a true animal lover who treated his dogs like family. He loved his family and was a new grandfather. We wanted to put a tool on the quilt because he was very mechanically gifted. The eye represents his beautiful blue and one of his gifts to help others after his death.
