Vanessa Lodge
Vanessa Renee’ Lodge was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, coworker, and friend. She loved God and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. Her faith guided all aspects of her life. She was always helping others and brought joy to everyone who knew her. She was a proud employee of the United States Postal Service for over 20 years and throughout her career was recognized for her excellent leadership and work ethic. She was also a business owner and served as the landlord for two apartment complexes. The tenants absolutely loved her! The love she shared with her coworkers and tenants was greatly felt by her family, her church family, and friends. She loved being a member of Christian Tabernacle Church in Southfield, MI. She adored her pastor and first lady, Dr. James L. & Loretta Morman. She served in ministry until she was no longer physically able. She always had a kind word or special gift just for you. She wouldn’t hesitate to give you the scarf around her neck or the hat she was wearing if you liked it because she wanted you to be happy. Everyone loved her including the nursing staff and doctors at Karmanos cancer center. Our lives won’t be the same without her. She is missed every day, but we are thankful to God that He allowed her to be a part of our lives! We love you, Net!
