Wayne Ginste

Wayne was a natural athlete. He was club champion in his golf league, he played outstanding hockey, and had played major league baseball. He had an unique sense of humor. All of these could have been indicated on his quilt square, but although he was exceptional in these areas they did not define his life. Love defined his life- his love of life and full extent to which he lived it- his love of people (there was no one he didnt like). He loved his wife, his children, and grandchildren. He had a special way of relating to children because he never lost that wonder of life. We included Waynes picture in a big red heart because it was love that defined his life- his love and the love of so many people for him.
