I did the quilt patch this way because each thing represented something my mom loved in her life. The numbers and alphabet is because she was a preschool teacher. The heart represents her love in family and friends. The star represents her dream for everyone to do great in life. The cross represents that she was active in her church and loved it. Last but most certainly not least, is the music note. That represents her deep passion for music, whether it was guitar, piano, sing, as long as it was music she loved it with all of her heart.
