Steve Rohre

Steve was my son-in-law for a brief time but I learned to admire and respect him for his love of life and his desire for everyone to enjoy life in all its forms – plants, animals, people – the young, the old, the strong, the frail, the folks of different color and ideas and beliefs. When he was suddenly taken from us, it was no surprise that he wishedto be an organ donor. The RV took him and his family out to life in nature. A favorite trip was to any Michigan lighthouse. He visited many. Lighthouses symbolize caring, rescuing, and preserving life – just as organ donors do.
