Ron

Ron and I were married for 43 years. We raised 2 children and have 6 grandkids. Ron worked for Ford and others as a machine repairman. In his spare time he enjoyed the outdoors. he went deer hunting every year since he was a boy except for the 3 years he spent in the U.S. Army. He went to Idaho one year and got a black bear. We bought property in northern lower michigan. He introduced our, son-in-law and grandkids to the outdoors. Ron was laid off from work one year in 1988. He bought a cabin from a friend. He took the cabin down, moved it to our property and rebuilt it, with the help of family, but mostly by himself. He started in the spring and put the roof back on in October of88. Ron had many interests including woodworking and gardening. he was proudest of his grandkids, and enjoyed going to their sports events and toher activities. When he retired he did some farming. He had hay and raised pigs, chickens and a few cattle. Ron was finding new hobbies up to the time he died suddenly at a young 67 years o
