Donald Waleson

My husband and I were both born in Indonesia. We immigrated to the United States from the Netherlands in 1962. The print cloth that frames the photo collage is real Indonesian Batik. It is approximately 55 years old. The four photos in the collage represent my husband as a Dutch Merchant Marine, his last professional photo before he passed away, a photo from our wedding in Meppel, the Netherlands and lastly photo of our four children. It was our only son who asked that we donate my husband’s corneas; he himself received a cornea transplant in 1992
