My father was the type of person who lived for his family. They were his whole life and his number one priority. He was a very hard working and talented man as well as intelligent and artistic. He enjoyed fishing, reading, drawing and visiting with his family. He was very proud of the fact that he served his country in WWII as a medic on a hospital ship. He earned a couple of citations for his courageous duty. My father was always there for us when we needed him and he will always be in my heart and his familys heart. He left behind a loving wife, 2 daughters, and a son, along with 7 grandchildren and 2 son-in-laws, one of which he was very close to.
