Matthew Oland Gaeth

The picture of Matt on the quilt is the last picture of Matt taken. It was taken 4 days before he was killed at work. The “M” for University of Michigan was put on the quilt because from the time that he was a little boy, University of Michigan was his favorite team. The poem was written by his aunt Shauna. Matt was a very giving person when he was alive. If a friend, family or anyone needed help he was there for them. Even at the age of 23 he told me that if anything happened to him he wanted to be a donor. He said this the spring before the died.
