The maker of the quilt square is family friend, Jennifer Wollesen. She said,” I chose the Ohio Star block because Max is from Ohio. I used gray and red colors for Ohio State University. I used the basket weave pattern on the gray because Max wove into our hearts with his love of the Lord and his goodness.” Max wanted to attend Ohio State University and become a computer graphics and games designer.
