Donate Life Day at the Zoo

Join us in Grand Rapids to celebrate the gifts of life, sight, and mobility made possible by organ, eye and tissue donors.

Event Details

Donate Life Day at the Zoo is a free, family-friendly event that includes:

  • Celebration of Life Trail honoring organ, eye, and tissue donors and recipients
  • Community resource booths
  • Face painting
  • Ice cream treats, cotton candy, and popcorn
  • Kent County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Unit “Park and Pet”
  • And more…

Donate Life Day at the Zoo takes place at John Ball Zoo Entry Valley, located right next to the zoo entrance (see map below). Zoo admission is not required to attend the event.

The first 250 guests to check-in at the event will receive a free t-shirt and ticket to the zoo!
